Enjoyed a lovely local ale, burger, and chips on a rainy eve my first time in Wales. Casual vibe in a more upscale configuration. They were for some reason playing an exclusively REM playlist that I really enjoyed because of how out-of-place it felt. Service was friendly.
Service, as in many spots in the UK and Ireland, is not as attentive as we are used to in the states, but because this was universally my experience in these rainy islands (you have to quite literally chase them down if you want a refill on water or to get your check), I won't dock them any points.
